Tour Host Review: Performing Arts and Cultural Festivals

With summer comes outdoor festivals and celebrations of life around the world. Not only the traditional music and theatre we expect, but also the living festivals and events that mark a culture's seasonal cycles.  

This month, we feature a selection of tour hosts who offer the best in entertaining events around the globe. Travel to the far reaches of the earth for the cultural festivals of Tibet and Papua New Guiana, enjoy the classical strains of chamber music, spectacular opera and theatre throughout Europe and the not to be missed treats of Tango and the seasonal festivals of Latin America. 

Of course North America has it's share of great entertainment as well; the Shakespeare Festivals of Ashland, Oregon and Stratford, Canada, Living History events like Renaissance Faires around the country and many cities host theatre and concerts in local parks and squares. Where ever you choose to enjoy the pleasures of the Muses, summer is a great time for expand your horizons and experience new venues and styles of entertainment.

Act 1 Performing Arts Tours Inc. Pick of the Month
