Bestway Tours and Safaris

From the farthest reaches of South America across Central, South and East Asia, Africa, America, Europe’s eastern countries and the Middle East, Bestway Tours and Safaris offers small-group departures which it markets as "journeys without frontiers.”  By focusing on the culture and diversity of the countries its clients visit, Bestway is able to provide an in-depth look at the history of a country beyond just the physical remains of prior cultures.

Visit Web SiteAfter nearly 25 years in the tourism business, this company knows how to explore new destinations. By focusing on locations underserved by most companies, Bestway opens up cultural possibilities outside of the main tourist stream.

Two years ago Bestway launched an “Exploratory Tour of Iraq,” and this October it will again visit the country lately so much in our consciousness. "Mesopotamia: Where It All Began” is currently scheduled for an October 2003 departure. Other recently opened destinations include Libya. One of our previous newsletter articles, Little Known Libya Shelters Roman Ruins, is a fascinating introduction to the country and Bestway’s tour, “Libya: From the Sahara to the Mediterranean."

Another new destination is Afghanistan, and new trips to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan fill out the firm’s Central Asia offerings. New tours to Pakistan, India, China, Borneo, Mongolia, Myanmar (Burma), Vietnam and Borneo add depth to its Asia offerings.

Of course Africa, the Americas and Europe are also well represented. So, with all these fascinating places to visit, just where do you choose first? For me, the more exotic the better – but I still can’t choose just one.
