Since 1999, Dudley
Parkinson has been taking travelers to West Africa, a region he knows well
after 12 years in the Peace Corps, and exposing them to the cultural
diversity and beauty of a region not overly familiar to the U. S.
traveling public.
The dedication to the
local communities assures that all DreamWeaver Travel’s tours, whether
group or independent, respect the cultural traditions and environment.
They do so by avoiding goods and services which have negative ecological
or cultural impacts, minimizing waste, exhibiting modest consumption
behavior, and by using appropriate lodging and transportation resources
that benefit the community. Camel trekking anyone? All trips get you in touch, up-close and personal, with the local people. After a DreamWeaver journey, you’ll not return the same! By Sheri Leigh |
