Hiking adventures to Africa’s highest peaks include Tanzania’s Mt. Kilimanjaro, Uganda’s Mt. Stanley and Kenya’s Mt. Kenya. These journeys can be combined with camping or lodge safari programs. A multi-day hike into the remote Dogon villages along Bandiagara Escarpment and three-day boat journey are part of Guerba’s “Journey to Timbuctoo.” Family adventures include Kenya, Zanzibar and Morocco.

By grading all its journeys 1-6 for physical requirements (1 is easiest; 6 is hardest), people can select the trip that best matches their abilities. In conjunction with Epic Expeditions, Guerba also offers an overland safari for wheelchair-bound travelers.
